Independent Educator Pro LLC
These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Independent Educator Pro LLC (“Independent Educator Pro”, “IEPro”, “Connect by IEPro”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). They govern your access to and use of Independent Educator Pro, Connect by IEPro, and any educator subsites or related services that we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use the Services.
Independent Educator Pro provides software and tools that support educators in creating, promoting, and managing classes, programs, and educational offerings. This includes educator subsites, class listings, subscription billing, student and parent management, calendars, rosters, reminders, and other administrative tools.
Connect by IEPro provides a CRM, communication system, marketing tools, landing pages, booking and scheduling tools, and automation features that support educators in managing customer relationships and class operations.
We provide software only. Educators who use IEPro or Connect by IEPro operate their own independent businesses and are solely responsible for the classes and services they offer.
To use the Services, you must be at least eighteen years old. If you create an account on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business or organization.
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
If you believe your account or login has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
Independent Educator Pro and Connect by IEPro operate on a subscription model. When you purchase a subscription, you authorize us or our payment processor to charge your payment method at the price and frequency you selected. Subscription charges will continue until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription by accessing your account or by contacting support. Cancellation will stop future charges but will not result in a refund for completed billing periods unless required by law or offered explicitly.
Payments are processed through third party providers such as Stripe, Square, NMI, or Authorize.net. By submitting payment information, you agree to abide by the terms of those providers.
Educators who use Stripe Connect to accept payments from parents or students must complete Stripe onboarding. We are not responsible for delays, holds, or account limitations imposed by Stripe or any other payment processor.
Educator subsites are provided to educators as part of the Services. Educators have full control over and responsibility for the content they publish, the classes they offer, the pricing they set, the policies they enforce, and the communications they send to families.
Independent Educator Pro does not monitor, endorse, supervise, or guarantee the quality or safety of any educator’s classes or educational practices. All interactions between educators, parents, and students take place directly between those parties.
Educators must ensure that their class descriptions, communication, and content comply with applicable laws and do not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
Parents or legal guardians who enroll students in classes through IEPro or Connect by IEPro are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that the student is appropriately prepared and available for classes.
Parents acknowledge that educators operate independently and that all class related communication, refunds, performance, class experience, and educational quality are handled directly by the educator.
Connect by IEPro provides tools for sending email and SMS communications, including reminders, confirmations, announcements, and marketing messages. Educators who choose to send messages are responsible for ensuring that they have lawful consent from recipients and that their messages comply with applicable laws, including A2P messaging requirements, anti spam rules, and carrier regulations.
Independent Educator Pro is not responsible for legal penalties or disputes arising from educator misuse of communication tools or failure to obtain necessary consents.
Transactional communications that relate to user accounts, security, billing, class reminders, and other essential notifications may be sent automatically as part of the Services.
You agree that you will not use the Services in any way that:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Independent Educator Pro owns all intellectual property in the IEPro and Connect by IEPro platforms. This includes software, templates, educator subsite architecture, branding, text, graphics, images, logos, and all other proprietary materials.
You are granted a limited, non exclusive, revocable license to use the Services solely for your educational or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Educators retain ownership of their class descriptions, curriculum materials, images, and other original content they upload.
You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works based on the Services unless you have our written permission.
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in that policy.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.
Educators acknowledge that any parent or student data they enter into Connect by IEPro or any educator subsite is their responsibility and that they must follow applicable privacy rules for minors and parents.
The Services integrate with various third party systems, including but not limited to Stripe, Zoom, Google, Postmark, Mailgun, Cloudflare, and Go High Level. Your use of these services may require compliance with additional terms and conditions.
Independent Educator Pro is not responsible for outages, limitations, or data incidents that occur as a result of third party service failures.
While we strive to maintain consistent availability, the Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, service outages, third party provider issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services and are not liable for losses caused by downtime or delays.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:
Upon termination, you must stop using the Services immediately. Subscription payments already made are non refundable unless required by law.
The Services are provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be free from errors, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Independent Educator Pro LLC will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. This includes damages related to lost revenue, lost data, service interruptions, or claims involving educator class performance or parent and student interactions.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Independent Educator Pro LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your content, your business practices, your communications, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Independent Educator Pro LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law rules.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution first. If no resolution is reached, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in that state, unless prohibited by law.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will post the updated version and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
